Fish Habitat Compensation Plans

Azimuth will identify fish habitat compensation opportunities and prepare compensation plans for projects that require compensation in order to offset impacts to fish habitat resulting from a wide range of projects, such as shoreline infilling or widening of a highway that could result in the loss of fish habitat. Azimuth staff are experienced in working for a wide array of clients including the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), municipalities and private sector clients to liaise with the regulatory agencies (including conservation authorities and Fisheries and Oceans Canada) to secure fisheries approvals, and develop a detailed compensation plan that meets federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
