Azimuth Announcements

AWe announce the resignation of one of our founding partners, Paul Neals, effective June 30, 2016. Paul enjoyed 20 successful years with Azimuth but felt it was time to designate his responsibilities to new partners and pursue different endeavors. Paul has contributed considerably to the success of this organization. We acknowledge his efforts and thank him for the unconditional commitment and dedication throughout the years. Azimuth would like to wish Paul the best of success with his future endeavors.

AIn July 2016 Azimuth carried out salvage of several Painted Turtles and Snapping Turtles in anticipation of the scheduled removal of a manmade pond at the Highway 407 East – Phase 2 project in Durham Region. Azimuth is responsible for the natural heritage mitigation and restoration program for the project, and wildlife rescues are just one aspect of Azimuth’s role. All turtles were relocated to a slow-moving creek and marsh in a nearby Provincially Significant Wetland on the same day of capture.
