Environmental Construction Monitoring
Azimuth undertakes environmental monitoring and site inspection services for a wide variety of construction project types including road widening/improvement projects, watercourse realignments, culvert replacements, and bridge works. Inspections are carried out according to contract documents, and in compliance with the established environmental approvals for both contractors and contract administrators. Azimuth provides the following services to meet all your environmental and construction inspection needs:
- Onsite inspection of Sediment and Erosion Control Plans
- Fish and wildlife relocations (including securing MNRF permits)
- Breeding bird nest surveys and protection plans
- In water work (temporary flow bypass/dewatering systems)
- Water levels and quality (surface water and ground water)
- Completion of daily and annual monitoring reports and photos
Azimuth holds the following certifications to execute our monitoring services: MTO RAQS Certifications (Fisheries Assessment, Environmental Inspection during Construction, Fisheries Compliance during Construction Contracts, Natural Sciences, and Species at Risk Specialist), CISEC and ESC Certification, Species at Risk Inspector/Handler, Invasive Species Monitor, and Migratory Bird Protection Inspector.
